A Dashboard is a Personal workspace for Supply Chain Management people to customize and analyze the unique Projects. Within dashboard workspace we can analyze issues, risks, documents, budget cost of Portfolios.

A Portfolio is a group of specified Projects set by the Portfolio user. Portfolios enable us to group unique projects according to our requirement so that we can easily analyze data from more than one project at a time. It enables organizations to better manage incoming demand, seek the right balance of projects, ensure that resources are not overstretched, and easily communicate the performance of projects and programs to stakeholders.

Portfolio management enables user to monitor and analyze program-level summary data to support strategic planning and early trend detection. Only authenticated users can use the P6 Web Portfolio Management module to view summarized Cost, Schedule, and Performance information for groups of projects. We can create variety of data layouts enable us to analyze and evaluate the group and project levels to support planning and decision making.
