Desalination Systems

Desalination plants primarily use membrane filters to remove salinity from sea water in order to make it suitable for human consumption or for use as process water in industries. These membranes are highly sensitive to organics, dust and other impurities.

Haycarb Activated carbon while removing the organics which is the main purpose, is also clean, dust free and resistant to attrition so as not to release dust or other impurities into the water, which prevents damaging the highly sensitive and costly membranes of reverse osmosis systems.
