Heat Reflective Coatings
Triple Action Coatings
All the materials used for construction of building absorb and transfer heat inside of the building all the day. Heat always flow from the warmer side to cooler side and cooler to warmer side. 80% to 95% of heat gain during summer and about 70% of heat loss during winter trasferred through the walls, ceiling and roofs of the building by way of conduction and radiation. The conventional insulation only slows down the rate of heat transfer which after saturation cannot stop radiant heat.
Monarch's OzoProtect Heat / Solar Reflective Coatings reflects up to 98% of heat back to its source. Monarch's Ozoprotect specialized coating containing ceramic microspheres and / or glass microspheres keeps you cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter reducing cooling cost during summer months and heating cost during winter months. The load reduction of air conditioning or heater and corresponding electrical consumption saves energy cost up to 40% all round year. The payback period is less than 6 months. OzoProtect significantly contributes to green building certification as Solar Reflectance Index (SRI) is 116 and prevention of global warming besides reducing evaporation loss in petroleum storage tanks.
Salient Features of Heat Reflective Coatings
Features- Reflects 98% of heat in roofs / ceilings / walls.
- Reduces Internal temperature of building up to 15°C.
- Reduces evaporation losses, pollution, smog, the urban heat island effect and global warming.
- Quick payback period - saves over INR 5200 / year for every 1°C temperature reduction - saves over 40% in energy bills for Air conditioner / Heaters.
- Conventional insulation system only slows the rate of heat transfer - cannot stop radiant heat.
- Resistant to acid rain, UV rays, Saline atmosphere & condensation.

Application Demo
- Surface Preparation
- Brush away loose contamination on the substrate to be coated.
- Bio-wash for killing fungus where necessary
- Roughen surfaces by wire brush manually.
- All surfaces must be clean and free from laitance, dust, dirt, oil and grease.
- Please check Moisture level and pH level in walls/roof/terrace/ceilings. The moisture level should be below 12% and pH should be in the range 7-9.
- Mixing Instructions
- Turn pails upside down 8 hours prior to application. This will allow coating to become softer and easier to mix.
- Thoroughly mix the contents of containers using stirrer/mixer. Over-Mixing more than 5 minutes may destroy particles, thereby reducing insulating capabilities.
- Thinning/Dilution of the material using water is not recommended.
- Stir the paint occasionally before each use.
- Product Application
- The surface should be moist/water wash before application. However avoid puddling/ponding of water.
- Apply first coat with brush on the cleaned and washed surface.
- Apply second coat after a gap of 1-2 Hours.
- After completion of full coating, it should be allowed to cure for 24 hrs. Drying time may vary due to temperature / humidity and surface condition.
- Ensure that the coated area does not come in contact with water for atleast one hour.
- Apply with a quality brush, or roller.
- For best results, Apply when surface and ambient temperatures are above 13°C and below 32°C.
- After completion of full coating, it should be allowed to cure for 24 hrs. Drying time may vary due to temperature / humidity and surface condition.
- Product Limitations
- Not recommended for immersion conditions.
- Not to apply the product below 15°C and above 40°C
