rubber is one of the fastest growing, cheapest and most abundant variety of wood in india. The rubber tree is felled after completely harvesting its latex. Since it is a very fast growing variety, it is very quickly replacable causing minimum environmental damage. Kerala is one of largest producers of rubber wood in india.
