Spirulina

Spirulina: Spirulina is a microscopic blue-green aquatic plant that is not only healthy but recommended by many health experts. It is said to be the first form of plant on this planet, nearly 3.5 billion years old. Spirulina is generally found in fresh, brine and brackish water is very rich in vitamins, minerals, nutrients, and proteins. It is therefore considered to be a "miracle food". The deep green colour comes from its rainbow of natural pigments, namely chlorophyll (green colour), phycocyanin (blue colour) and carotenoids (orange colour) that harvest the sun's energy.
